Carbon Dioxide
CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2)
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a byproduct of the fermentation process used to produce ethanol from rice. During fermentation, yeast consumes the sugars in the rice and produces ethanol and carbon dioxide as waste products. The carbon dioxide is typically captured and separated from the ethanol using distillation or other separation methods.
The captured carbon dioxide can be used in a variety of ways:
Food and beverage industry- to carbonate soft drinks and beer
Industrial applications- In Welding and in the production of dry ice.
DBFPL PRODUCES 120 TONS OF CO2 PER DAY.

Capturing carbon dioxide from rice-based ethanol production can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon dioxide is a major contributor to climate change, and by capturing and using it, the ethanol industry can help to reduce its environmental impact.
