Our Story
Established in 2021, Devsristi is a young thriving business set out as a foundation step to contribute to India’s renewable energy mission. We are a company focused on developing next generation business with environmental, social and economical sustainability goals.
As part of Government of India’s (GOI) Ethanol Blended Petrol Program (EBP) , Devsristi Bio Fuels Private Limited (DBFPL) would play an integral part in reducing the dependence of India on fossil fuels, in promoting sustainable energy production, and supporting the development of rural economies.
Devsristi operates a state-of-the-art facility that utilises broken rice, a by-product of rice milling, as a feedstock for the production of ethanol. We would use advanced fermentation and distillation processes to efficiently convert broken rice into high-quality ethanol, which can be blended with gasoline to create a cleaner and more sustainable fuel. Additionally, with operational efficiency and run-up to full production, we intend to support the production of DDGS and CO2 as co-products.
As part of GOI’s EBP, our company would work closely with fuel retailers and other stakeholders to ensure that our ethanol is effectively integrated into the fuel supply chain. We also intend to educate consumers and raise awareness about the benefits of using ethanol as a fuel additive, including reduced dependence on imported fossil fuel, improved air quality and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Kavya Sahithi Dandamudi

Kavya Sahithi Dandamudi holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Northeastern University, Boston, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad. She has gained significant practical experience working in her family’s business, particularly in finance management and operations. At Devsristi Energy Private Limited, Kavya plays a vital role in developing financial processes and implementing strategic frameworks that support the company’s growth and stability. Her strong analytical foundation and practical exposure enable her to effectively navigate complex financial landscapes while contributing to the company’s long-term sustainability and efficiency.
Prithviraj Dandamudi
Managing Director at Devsristi Energy Private Limited
Prithviraj Dandamudi, a Fine Arts graduate with a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and sustainable development, ventured into the agriculture and renewable energy sectors in 2019. As the Managing Director of Devsristi Energy Private Limited, he has been instrumental in establishing a state-of-the-art Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Telangana, driving innovation in the field of clean energy. Prior to this, he served as Executive Assistant (Technical) to the CMD at Sravanti Group, gaining hands-on experience in project management and strategic execution. Prithviraj also co-founded Mibbles, a startup recognized for promoting sustainable agriculture through farmer partnerships and the creation of over 100 millet-based food products. His efforts in fostering farmer empowerment and sustainable business practices have been recognized with the “Best Start-up with Farmers Connect” award by the Indian Institute of Millets Research. Through Devsristi Energy, Prithviraj continues to lead initiatives that combine innovation, sustainability, and social impact.

Sunil Kumar, a specialist in Microbiology, brings over two decades of rich experience in managing the complete lifecycle of plant operations from pre-commissioning to full-scale production in the distillery and brewery industries. Throughout his career, he has been associated with several renowned organizations where he has successfully led operational excellence, ensured process optimization, and maintained high standards of quality and safety. His technical expertise and leadership continue to play a vital role in ensuring efficient and sustainable plant operations at Devsristi.
Satyanarayana Malla
Chief Financial Officer
Satyanarayana Malla is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, audit, taxation, supply chain management, budgeting, planning, and legal functions across diverse sectors. His deep understanding of financial management and strategic planning has been instrumental in driving financial discipline and business growth. As the Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the company’s financial strategy, governance, and risk management, ensuring long-term fiscal stability and compliance.
